Brown Bag on Corporate Museums

With Klarissa Lueg, associate professor at Organisational Studies, University of Southern Denmark

Bring your lunch and participate in the discussion after the talk. There will be coffee, the, water and snacks.

In her presentation ‘Corporate Heritage: Corporate Museums as form of Social Responsibility’, Klarissa Lueg will present her ongoing project “Corporate Museums Sønderjylland-Schleswig” that is a HORIZON pilot.

The project aims at

  • building a community of practice around corporate museums,
  • a website that guides citizens and tourists to nearby heritage sites and
  • inciting owners’ interest in building corporate museums.

She will also talk about corporate heritage, its value for citizens and other stakeholders (departing from the notions of collective memory and identity), and possible dark sides and pitfalls of corporate heritage communication.

Klarissa is interested in discussing with colleagues and guests about theorizing corporate heritage construction and how this idea is constructed by different stakeholders, from owners to citizens.
