Paola Gargiulo is a PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Genoa (Italy).
Her research project, Il MuDA – Museo Diffuso Albisola: Strategies for the Development and Enhancement of a Territory-Oriented Museum, investigates how the MuDA can strengthen its role within the cultural and social fabric of Albisola, with particular attention to public participation, the implementation of scientific activities, the updating of conservation and documentation methodologies, and the mediation of its historical and artistic heritage.
She works also as an independent curator and, since 2022, as a curator at Casa Museo Jorn.
